As you may know, I mainly write fiction, but I love poetry. I find I write prose poetry more than any other form of poetry (I don’t know why, maybe I find something satisfying about a block of text?), and I enjoy reading the poems And Other Poems publish. It’s a real honour to have a poem featured there, among so many talented poets.
‘Full Circle’ is about growing up and the lessons we learn along the way, but I won’t give it all away! You can read it for yourself by following this link here: ‘Full Circle’.
My flash fiction ‘Mother Knows Best’ was published as a part of FlashFlood for National Flash Fiction Day!
I love FlashFlood. The idea is that, for one day, the journal publishes a flash fiction every ten minutes, meaning you get a deluge of brilliant fiction. There are over 140 flashes in total, so plenty for you to read and enjoy!
If you’d like to read ‘Mother Knows Best’ you can do so by following this link here: FlashFlood.
My flash fiction, ‘Just Like Mummy’ has now been published over at the incredible CHEAP POP and it is available to read by following this link here.
I’m so happy this story has found a home. ‘Just Like Mummy’ is about a little girl who wants to grow up to be like her mum, though she probably shouldn’t… It’s innocent and dark… you’ll see what I mean.
I hope you enjoy reading ‘Just Like Mummy’ and I wholeheartedly encourage you to read the other fiction CHEAP POP have published because they’re powerful pieces which will stay with you long after reading. They really do pop!
